Take your time trying to find it. It will appear when it wants to appear. No need to rush into it.Originally posted by kqxrlovesSpeedmasters View PostThe fat lady does sing to me...but scanning through forums the fat lady seems to be priced out of my budget like 8kish. I did see one for 6.8k but not sure whats the condition like.
It's one of the wonders of trying to find the right watch at the right price.

But China is the same timezone as Singapore, so you may not get to use the timezone featureOriginally posted by kqxrlovesSpeedmasters View PostThats a great idea Kuchingku. I do travel to China at least 3 times a year so thats a practical consideration.
.
Having said that, classic Rolex are DateJust, Sub, and GMT. So I think GMT should be a fine addition!

Thanks for all the inputs bros! I think I'm going to gun for a GMT Master probably a 16750 or the 16700. Now the search begins!

Definitely less than 6K for a good condition one. If you want box and paper, then will cost a little more. 16750 is easier to adjust date with a newer movement than 1675. Get the matt dial one and looks just like 1675 but with quick set. Best.Originally posted by kqxrlovesSpeedmasters View PostThats a great idea Kuchingku. I think I will avoid the current GMT2C...if I were to target a 16750 GMT Master, a matte dial w/o WG indexes is rarer than those glossy dials with WG indexes? How much could I expect to pay for either variant?
