How much winding the watch gets really depends more on your arm movement rather than how long you wear it. If you are like me, an office guy who mostly spends the majority of his day pounding on keyboards, the poor watch a'int gonna get much winding.

Contrast with a person who leads an active lifestyle like sports or work that requires a lot of arm movement, the watch will definitely get more winding in 2 hours as compared to me sitting on my desk for 6 hours.

      Hope you get the picture.
Time is too precious to be measured by a cheap watch...

there's no correct answer........ cos it also depends on how active you were during those hours....

Handwinding = manual winding the crown

selfwinding = automatic (winding during your arm swing or simply shake it)

Usually, my automatic watch will run for 36-40hour after wearing it for 8hour. As for my manual 6694 it'll run +-38hour fully wind.

Actually, a simple shake of your wrist once a while during the wear period should be able to do the trick. It'll also make your watch more noticeable while doing tat
                6694 & 116520 for now...

All automatic Rolex watches must wind when it stop completely, the self winding will only effective after that.

I wind only 25 times for the watch I wanted to use when it is complete stop; suppose I wear it for any activity on that day, I remove it when reached home and place it on a flat surface, it will keep moving for about another 48 hours before it stop completely.

Most models of Rolex store about 48 hours of energy except for Daytona (2000 onwards store about 72hrs of energy with the in-house movt). If your watch is well maintained and oil, it will move better and longer, RSC suggest service your Rolex every 5 years.

Do not over winding the watch as 35 times is the max, over winding may cause damage to the main spring.

I wear my watch only once a week and should I full wind every 2-3 days or wind again when it comes to a complete stop. I find it quite troublesome to adjust the hour/minute hand when I want to wear it. What do you guys normally do.

I'm not so sure about this. i believe even when it is completely flat, by wearing it on your wrist, and move around, the watch should start on its own again.

also, most rollies can store up to 42 hours, but i have come across cases where the watch just can't seems to store the energy anymore... then you know that a service is required.
