This is just one lucky reckless soul. So he proves that Rolex make great watches, what does he gets in return? If something goes terribly wrong will Rolex repair his watch for free? I don't think so.

Not so serious actually...he did not risk his life. Just his hard-earned money and a piece of his heart (if he screws up his watch)

Boiling only 100 degrees only.....

I wonder if it would survive cremation? I want to be with my Rolex forever.....so must cremate together. It would be sad if the owner went and the Rolex survived the cremation....then got to encase it on the outside of the urn.

Although I am a Rolex admirer, I don't believe this is true. IMHO, there are other makes out there that will be able to take the same treatment and survive.

I would say that only Rolex franatic will do that, 3 cheers for the tester... And that proof that Rolex is the best. If not can other watches fans carry out the test too? No lah... just kidding... don't risk your collection, because their built are not that tough....
