Noticed this as well. Must mean that production of SD has officially stopped.

Will it kickstart a mad rush to acquire a piece of discontinued collectible?

Well... I'm telling myself that at least it's a good buy for me, and I shall wear it for a long while. Then pass it on generation to generation.... by then i think it will worth quite alot. So when u buy it and u wear it then life is much more meaningful, cheers!.. IMO.
There is a very fine line between this "hobby" and "mental illness."

Look on the wife's face when VISA bill arrived, Priceless!!!!

yup seadweller is a solid watch. those who don wish to hold on to this watch and don need cash urgently, hold on it 1st and value will raise and then later sell it just a matter can wait or not hehe.

Production may officially stopped but, as for availability, I believe the SD will still be easily available i.e. judging on the number currently on sale. At least for now.

not to be sounding negative, but SD can be had with relative ease. since it was a "popular" diving watch.
