  • Location - Polishing, change of crystal

    I am newbie here.
Wanna change the crystal, is it advisable to go for outside shop to do it? no waterproofing is required.

I have another watch thinking to send for polishing, is it okie to go for outside shop too?

Or it is better to go back to RSC for peace of mind?

Since you want a peace of mind, I recommend RSC:

    charges are:

Sorry, i mean i dont want my watch to go for waterproof testing (as it will cause $$$) after changing the crystal... btw, it is necessary to go for that testing everytime change of crystal? this is my 2nd time to change the crystal becos my mum dropped the watch and broke it. during the 1st, RSC recommended the testing simply becos of there is deep scratch on the bezel.

        thks for the advice.

          Hi All,

I just want to check something, the price as quoted by chersen, at $113 to change the crystal, is it for the sapphire or the acrylic? TIA for any replies. If there was a requirement for waterproffing test, how much additional for the test?

          Thanks..
