When was it circa? And what's the alphabet on chapter ring?
Coz i saw one with 'Z' alphabet on chapt ring....and 'Z' is circa early 2006....(correct me if im wrong)
And Sub C just circa.....I'm confused....

    Thank you.

Think I read somewhere may be in this or other forum that there are someone observed an L series brand new Rolex in reputable AD too. Seem like Rolex probably changing their serialization system, I remember my 16610 come with V series, and someone reported 'alpha numerical' series and then follow by G series??? Getting confuse now!!

Which model did you see? WG, YG, TT or SS? The current Sub ceramic only launched from Basel 2008 with WG & YG, followed by TT in 2009 and lastly SS in 2010. It can't be Z. Unless due to the current alphanumeric system that the 1st character is Z that it may create the confusion that it is from Z series. Recently I noticed a green sub which it's serial number is MZxxxxxx but that doesn't mean it is from M series. Hope I have clarified.

I guess it's the alpha-numerical series as my newC-Sub black comes with the alphabet
        'Z' followed by seven numerals...

I just got my SS Sub-C from Europe about 3weeks ago and my serial number starts with numeral with mixed alphabets.

              It goes like this xQxxKxxx

Is this the alpha numeric series that surface before the current G series?
