Hi all ....I am travelling to australia next month to Brisb and gold coast.. Does anyone here can advice me where can i get rolex (AD) over there? Also does anyone know also the preowned shop there??? Can i have the address if you all have it... Thanks.. Good exchange rate there so thought of getting rolex there.....

i recall that there may be an hourglass outlet at gold coast. will confirm when i get back on 7 nov. exchange rates really quite attractive now. even if i dun get to spend it all, i could just keep and see if it appreciates in future. not looking at profit but minimise loss. some $$$ changers in chinatown are more vicious than the great whites in downunder

not sure about banana bender state, but here in WA, the money changer charge a bomb. always worth while to change in SG than to change here.

for non-sports rolexes, what i gather is that they will quote 7% discount
sports, selling at list.

u can forget about daytona if u r hear for travelling. waiting list is more than a yr. the others u can still give it a try. depends on ur luck though.

if u buy ur watch within 30 days of your departure, u can claim back 1/11 GST from customs.

Thanks Seabird33. I am not going to get Daytona cos it way above my budget. I am trying to compare the price here in singapore and if the exchange rate can buy me a rolex with fews hundred diff from singapore.. Then will go get one for myself. looking for SD/Sub/GMT . Hopefully can get a good price there. Love the watch a lot but 3 of them look alike...Don't really know the diff... Anyone here can help reagrds to the SD/Sub/GMT.. What actually diff beside the name....heheh
