Yup, no Hulk in Frankfurt airport, now I confirm incheon and Frankfurt airport is cheaper than sg airport terminal by at least sgd1500 for submariner.
Don't really believe in building relationship with AD unless you make many purchase from them.
For 1 off kind of purchase, buy from which ever AD offer you the best price. You can call me cheapo but that is the hard earn money I want to save.

In Frankfurt airport now, no stock on sub but after vat rebate is €5390, but they have new exp2 going at €5290 still a good buy but not what I want. The point is Sgp Terminal boutique discount is not good enough unless you just want to save 7% GST.

was at T1 last week and ask for the quote for explorer 2 black. Basically a singaporean can buy and leave the watch at the shop and pick them up when you are back. There is no 7% charges but the price they quote is almost similar to what the local AD quoted me.

I am currently in Pittsburgh, heading back home soon. Fly to JFK and connected to SQ25 that will transit in Frankfurt, target on a SS Rolex Sport model, it is retailing over 10K in SG, I will probably buy if the VAT rebate is good with availability of choice....heard is about 14% off SS sport model....I will keep you guys posted.

I got my GMT half gold at airport but in 2010... -7%(no gst) -10%(discount, I remember it's 5% less than local AD) n Changi rewards (If I remember correctly, $1030 coz tat is the first year the reward points is better)
I cfm it's cheaper due to no gst n the Changi rewards but the rewards points u can claim only in voucher... So I use the voucher to buy a omega in 2011...
FYI, I leave my watch there n I collect it when I arrived coz I call them and had an agreement... But I took the recipt n card....
During last GSS, I bought a caltier n the promo was.... DOUBLE REWARDS POINTS!!!
I am a frequent traveller (1mth fly out at least two times)... Hope the info helps....

The reward card booth is only available at T3, u can apply online and collect the card there. It's in B2 if I remember correctly.

I just don't get it. I see so many people wanting to sell their watches at prices which we can get cheaper from Spore Changi Airport. The prices at the airport is already cheaper, that makes you the first owner. Save money on authenticating and gives you piece of mind.

Secondly buying it there gives you vouchers of at least S$500. So assuming a GMT2c which is selling at about S$9800 there, after the S$500 voucher, you are basically buying it at S$9300? Even though the voucher is for next purchase, it is still money back to your own pockets.

Now am i wrong to buy from airport or it is ridiculous to buy from resellers who bought from overseas AD?

I think the resellers need to price reasonably.

They said they do 3% Discount, plus the tax saving..... ( so this is about 7-8% off ( allow for tax fees ) ).

On the 15 FEB they had these stocks...... but I got a better deal on sport model at THG.... so airport is not the greatest place on Earth.
