Just can't help ranting about these "rewards" scheme which IMHO is insincere and pathetic. Was at a capital mall yday and was shocked that to earn a $5, we have to spend $5k. That's like 0.1% ???
Does this really work to attract shoppers or retain shopper's loyalty? It's plain pittence.

Gassan at T3 targets PRC customers flying home. Smarter Rolex collectors on ROC need to shop elsewhere!

the last time I went to T3 duty free Rolex store. they said no discount apart from 7% GST off.
on top of that most of the popular models are out of stock.
complete waste of time.

The last time I was at changi airport, the PRC SA gave me a price which is more expensive than that offered in boutiques! Perhaps bargaining sales play a part but I was juz put off by the attitude... Ended up buying in boutique...

Not exactly true that DFS is cheaper than some AD in town, cos for a common model say Datejust 116233 with diamond dial, was quoted ard $15K+ but my AD lobang can offer ard $14K+, so a saving of $1K plus!

9% off for DJ or TT models is not fantastic, if its for ss sports eg sub c, gmt2c, esp ss daytona, its a different story
Originally posted by Minority View Postnot good deal .local AD already give u 10% for standard model. the GST is just a ruse. by right real discount would be 9% + 7% (GST). that I will call real discount.

And the popular sub c, GMT 2 and deep sea models have sold out.. They told me that they gave 2% discount + 7% tax free (ie no GST if u can show your air ticket).. So total is 9% discount. It is good deal but they do not have stock
