Wow, that is a very high end fake. If it is using real eta and sapphire glass, it is miles ahead of other fakes and probably not cheap. And it'll probably last as long as a real rolex! Scary!

Thanks for the links to the article. The calibre 3135 has a higher level of finish that I initially thought. The polishing on the main rotor seems to suggest that there is little or no circular grinding on the plates. I thought the balance wheel being free sprung will not require the use of a breguet overcoil.

Think it is better to have a robust movement than something that is technically excellent but more fragile, like JLC movement. Also cost more to service a delicate movement.

With the increase in case size, I wonder if Rolex will push out a new line of movement to match the bigger case size.
