  • New Tudor Heritage pieces to look like vintage Tudor and Rolex

    From Baselworld 2012

New Tudor Pelagos ... like a reincarnation of the old Rolex 16600 crossed with the tudor snowflake subs:

Heritage Black Bay ... to look like the early Tudor 7922 sub, or the early Rolex Sub 6538 complete with rail dial...

    Nice...

In various Rolex Forums, people are raving how Tudor has done the right thing this year! I will definitely add one to my collection!

Cannot reconcile the snowflake hands with the small rose, but that's just me.
I will definitely keep a lookout for the Pelgao, snowflake reissue when it hits the mkt though, 42mm, titanium case, yum yum, that one is seriously nice.
"Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence,
three times is enemy action and
over 600 is clearly the work of an ancient Sumerian demon or some sh*t
                    ."

                      more sense than mother ship

I think lately Tudor has been making more sense than Rolex actually. Have you guys seen the new Sky Dweller?? I swear it looks like a Seiko ... not that Seiko is a bad watch, but really - the design elements are so ... Seiko-inspired ...with that fancy wheel in the middle of the dial.

Just by doing reissues I think Tudor is on a roll.

If you look at the design of the new Pelagos, they added new features (innovative bracelet) and nice touches (matt titanium and new look snowflake dial). Tudor is still producing desirable and cool tool watches.

Tudor will be on a roll this year judging from many positive comments from Basel 2012. As for rolex releases ....... guess this year will be a Tudor year for me

I actually like this Black Bay more than the Pelagos.

I recall the watch community (including myself) was so excited about the Tudor Heritage Chrono showcased during Basel 2010 but the hype died down soon after it went on sale...

For now I think I "want" a Black Bay in SS bracelet Anyone comes across any price indication?

And seems like the additional fabric strap is becoming a standard for their heritage series (the Heritage Chrono comes with one too). A really nice touch that adds little to its cost. Well done Tudor!
