    Different movement, Rolex Sub runs 3135 movement while Tudor is driven by Swiss ETA 2824. Water resistant also diff if I'm not wrong

    But the most significant difference is one is a ROLEX while one is a TUDOR.

    Aftermarket means,it does not come with the watch originally when you buy it. That means like those diamond dials/bezels,you can go buy from goldsmith or some watch shops,that's aftermarket. If it does not come with the watch originally,or purchased from RSC,RSC will remove and make you buy a new dial.

    Buying from ADs are not a worry. I saw websites selling "genuine" rolex with Tudor movement! They are not Folexes but "mixed blood" Rolexes!

    Getting from Bangkok is not a problem,go to big shopping centres can ald. There is a Hour Glass Boutique at Gaysorn. Can go check it out

    Thank TS for bringing out this topic out for discussion. It will benefit noob like myself who are only starting (now then can afford) the luxury of appreciating time pieces.

    Since there are also concerns that fakes actually going into the finer details to replicate a Rolex, then brothers... do you know if its safe to buy a Rolex from Bangkok? Any good reliable shop to recommend?

    they check the parts that are necessary such as bracelet, case, bezel, crown, dial, movements,....... tiny screws are probably generic.
