Rolex replaces Hublot to become official F1 timing partner in 2013.
(Would this translate to Higher price increase for Sports series in 2013??)

Even more publicity for an already powerful Brand

Like Mercedes, Rolex is an Icon. Like Ferrari, PP is also an icon.

When people have a stable of cars, they will always have a Merc and a Ferrari. So, even if people have their RMs and MBF, they will have a Rolex and a Patek somewhere.

I would guess so, esp for the already high marked up prices of Daytonas. A 50th Anniversary Daytona model is most likely due next year for release at Basel World 2013 perhaps?

                Thanks for sharing!

                Agree with the article.

In addition to buying a powerful brand name like rolex, I buy only Gold Rolex watches so there is like a double hedge cos in bad times gold prices tend to hold or go up so the value of Gold Rolex watches remain stable.

                  Yeah. Thanks for sharing.
How nice if everybody buys watches for their watchmaking built, personality and design.
                  Not brand name etc.
