Explorer II Date jump question

hi all bros, I am new to this forum and I just got a new 16570. I noticed that the date only jumps around 12:07am (+-) and not at exact midnight. Is this normal? Sorry for my ignorance cos' I read some official reviews on GMT Master II, it mentions date jump accurately at 12am midnight. True?

Not exactly at midnight sharp 1 la...my exp II last time jumped after like 3-5 mins. Doesn't really matter if it jumps abit slower la..but not too slow also la. Usually I sleep by then already so dun really care about it..hahah

Then that time I realise my Tag 12 10 still never jump yet....last night countdown the time it jump earlier than 12 about siao siao already.

Thanks bros here for such a quick reply Actually I noticed the jump only last night when watching Ch5 count down.. only jump like 7-8 mins after midnight...

bro... my GMT II ceramic don't jump at 12 exactly also... use to jump around around 1205 but after putting in a watch winder it improves by jumping around at 1201... maybe because the main spring is all wind and got the power to push the next date change... just my view not too sure though.... anyway enjoy ur rollie

Seems that most agree that it is quite normal for the date of rolex watches to jump slightly after 12midnight. But the dates for my other watches (breitling, chopard, B&R, Vostok) will jump about 5min-1min before midnight. Is it because different mechanism in the movements? You guys have any other watches which date jumps after midnite (other than rolex)?

uboat 0000 sharp ETA 2824
hublot using mod 7750 start 2315 and end at 2358
ball using 7750 start at 2245 and end at 0000 .
