I'll be in Abu Dhabi for a week in May. Anyone can shed any info on where to buy rolex from there and if that is the cheaper place to get a new set?

As a tax free city, Rolex is not exactly cheap there.

The place to buy is at Dubai Mall!

              yeah, nuts and dates cheaper.

              also car parts, pertrol.

Watches not exactly cheaper. But their PAM boutique have the largest selection available I ever seen.

Was looking at the 312 there. Got the bracelet one too. Very heavy.
              Slightly cheaper because of forex.

Rolex definitely not cheaper. Daytona everywhere.

water is more expensive than petrol in dubai . If you can convert to drinking petrol; you will save alot of money

why would anyone in their right mind sell their watches for cheap..... esp when a watch like rolex sells itself; and holds value as good as cash.

They don't mind giving to you as a present especially if you a a business partner but they will not sell you at a lower price...

its actually a persian tradition to give a watch as a present (i forgot what the meaning behind the gesture was)

the preowned ones are worse, my friend went to check n he was shocked.
he told me maybe the boss see him chinese, anyhow hamtam price.

They may be rich, but that does not mean they are generous and sell their watch cheaply.

Maybe better to bring pre-own rolex there to sell
