which model shld i choose..gosh decisions are hard,arent they?

hi fellow members,
sold off my preowned datejust last mth..thinking of getting another rolex timepiece..but cant decide..im torn in between the following in no particular order

-explorer II 42mm polar bear
-explorer II 40mm polar bear
-sub hulk
-datejust 2tone with champagne diamond dial
-datejust ssteel with silver rhodium diamond dial..

if i had a truckload of dough ill probably get all of the abv..escorted with cisco aux police of course(lol)
technically this will be my first brand new piece..really wanna make it personal and treasure it for life..

Well, u already said it. U dun have a truckload of dough. Arranging it in the order of price, it will be:

1. Explorer II 16570 40mm. This is no longer available brand new, so it will have to be pre-owned. LNIB at best?
2. Explorer II 216570 42mm. New piece can vary between 8.5k to 9.5k? Depending who u buy from and how much discount u get. RRP is $10,580.
3. Datejust 36mm with diamonds. Abt $11k?
4. Submariner Hulk. Abt $13k?
5. Datejust TT with diamonds. Not sure abt this price of this one.

From there you can make your decision. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Go with a sports model as you owned the datejust before. But honestly since you plan to get brand new, go to any ad and try on all 5, choose the one you like.

For me, I am not ready to cross the 10k mark. So it'll be either the Sub LV or the E2 42mm if brand new is what you are going for. See which suits you best.

here is a trick, it works if sub consciously u already have an answer. it helps to dig it out.

u r down to 2 choices, flip a coin for it. if u happy with the out come, then tats the one.

if your reaction is like u feel "aiya wasted,why not get the other one" that means u wanted the other one all along.

if u are really ok with both, then the coin flip would also have solved the problem.

no bad right.

Not tat hard a decision my fren, since u've mentioned a budget of not more than S$10K & wanted a brand new sports rolex model = ExpII 216570 ONLY, cos the Hulk Sub 116610LV will not be less than S$10K brand new!
