    Defn a funny storry..what an incompetent jeweller
    Only a Rolex will do for me..a tradition passed down from my father and his father..
    I have a love-hate relationship with rolex, i hate the prices but love the pieces..
    Proud owner of a Rolex Explorer II 216570 polar since 27/2/13..okay..not anymore

      I wonder what is a "jeweler" as referred to in the article. Someone who sells jewelries and watches??

      Anyway I think it is incorrect to assume that people who work with watches know watches of every brands. I know of a local preowned shop that repeatedly advertised the wrong model number for his watches.

      So my take-away for this story is not so much of an expert that fails in his job, but a no-expert that thinks he is an expert.
