What does yellow stars rating means?

Saw some post thread have 4 or 5 stars rating, would like to know who gives these rating?

It is the rating of this thread. Look up to the top right of this page you will see 'Thread Tools', 'Search Thread' and then 'Rate This Thread'. You can rate this thread and then you will see stars.

I can give your thread a 5-Star rating if you say I am clever :-)
