if the ladies size can increase from 26 to 31mm, dont see reason why men sport cannot increase from 40 to 42mm
infact, dssd is now 44mm, explorer 2 is now 42mm
its just a matter of time gmt2c and sub c follow suit
Thank will be awesome... I love both the sub and gmt.. but the current ones are too small for my wrist.. that will certianly be on my wishlist!
The lug size has increased and hence the overall look and feel is bigger for both the GMT C and Sub C although EXP II 42 does seem bigger. Check out the 40mm EXP II. With the smaller lug size, even at 40mm, it seems smaller than both the former.
Went to hour glass the other day and was shown new GMT catalog with black/blue bezel. Was told the model will arrive in Singapore in November.
Europe will be around June or July.

GMT will go 42mm first as a test piece... subs tooooo classic to change without offending the world
Hey Dfive, Explorer II Orange Hand is the first "test" watch to go 42mm (aside from Deep Sea at 44mm which probably, they need to upsize DSSD to 44mm for the functional purpose rather than asthetic) (YM II too?)
Hmm.. yes and no..No because Explorer II is never a popular piece hence it came as no surprise that the price came down a lot. I feel it has got more to do with the model rather than size that caused the price tumbling... Yes could be because of the size.. more of the former than the latter I think
