  • No love for Rolex THUNDERBIRD 16264

Hi guys, out of the Blue I'm kinda of keen to find out more on the Rolex THUNDERBIRD 16264 . I heard that the Thunderbird series seems to be quite popular in Japan and nvr to be in Singapore. Is there really "No LoVe" n "No Drool " for the Rolex THUNDERBIRDS ?

Is be cos it's weird as it's not a pure Datejust nor a Sports model ?
Is it becos the engine turn bezel is not attractive nor appealing at all ?

Any Rolex THUNDERBIRD owners like to share their pics and views on owning a THUNDERBIRD ?

Yes, both the sites u quoted do have the thunderbirds. I realized that there's not much talk abt it but it's the earlier TOG and perhaps the later TOG has some followers. However,Japanese do like these Thunderbirds.

              So anyone owns one ?

Like to seek some advise from the seniors. Is there any difference btw a 16264 made in the 1994s and 2004s? The latter seem to have bigger bezel and more costly too. If im going for one, which is a better choice? Thanks
