Hey Guys, I was contemplating on getting a Boy size DJ for my wife. She prefers jubilee bracelet, roman numerals with Mother of pearl and retail for $9751 ,whereas a Boy size DJ in white face with roman numerals retail for $7931.

My opinion on Pearl face is too ex for a preimum of $1820. What sort of good discount normally one can get a good deal on DJ???

My AD quote me 15% off retail. Is this consider a good deal?

Lets say ur granddad pays abt $300 for the DJ in 1970s,plus 1k that your parents spend on the DJ....total- 1.3k. if u sell at 1.5k-1.6k, u dun lose $$$ ma.

Maybe la...might be selling off the DJ,but then if I sell off...my heart pain,the amt i spent on this watch alone is about 1k,the amt my parents spent on this watch is more than 1k,then add up the amt my grandpa paid...lose money

there will be parts one lah. that is why when buying watches, i prefer to know about the mechanism inside. these days when i look @ buying watches, i look @ the history of the company, buying a watch is not about what is current but also the future.

i dont think ur family will approve of you selling. it is not the issue of money. money can be earned. it is heritage that cannot be bought.

Bro, since this watch is passed down from your grand dad to your dad, I don't think it's a good idea to sell it off unless there's really very pressing needs. One thing for sure, it'll bring you back fond memories of your loved ones in future

The men's sized version is about 8.8k,so I guess it would be lesser than that,probably 6-7k.
