  • GMT watch problem?

    Hi gd day to all.

    Juz wonder any1 happen to face this prob wif their gmt or sub b4

    Watch was stopped. Took out e watch n set e time. After setting date & time, i wind up e watch. However e watch does nt move. After a few times pushing in/pulling out e crown and a few more winding finally e watch moved.

    Wonder any1 face such prob b4?

    Usually, for my watch that has stopped, I would wind up the watch first before setting the time and date.
    For my explorer 2, it takes about 10 wind roughly before the second hand starts moving.

      Usually for my gmt its takes ard 10 over turn n watch will start running.

      However when today i have this prob i already wind at least 30 times n e watch still doesnt run. Its when i start to worry

        Recently I had a same experience like yours too actually. I was puzzled also. What I did was I just screw the crown back and wind again and it worked the second time round. If it happens again when my watches stop next time, I guess I would be as worry as you are now. That said, let's see if some experts can provide some explanation and solution.

          I think quite normal. Need to shake it a bit after winding then the watch will run.

            thx to all.I think from nw i shall wind up e watch 1st b4 setting e times.

            Hope its just a 1 time incident.Really seldom wear e watch.Ard 1 - 2 times / month nia

              Make sure u wind it correctly, and it doesn't move the min u wind it.
              Probably need to get a good 10 wind or so before the second hand starts kicking.
              And pls don't over wind it. Over winding will also spoiled the watch. Best to wind around 15x at most
