Price for Sub LV

wow, sub lv at 7.5k...how many percent discount is that? i plan to get a sub tt, but now decided to hold off my purchase till feb next year. when the economy is jialat jialat, and the shops are desperate for survival, then go in and whack.

Any idea what would be the parallel import price now of a LV from Japan? 3 months ago, it was 8K. Now7K?

I believe so, basically every Rolex has got a 30% discount from Rolex Distributor, Dealer are at liberty to sell what ever price they seem fit, high demand for Sub they minmise discount, I still remember those day i could go to PP Rolex dealer get up to 25% off. They will tell you on the face they make 5% and need cash to roll, Just because supply and demand for Subbies is high they sell at list price!

Now that market is bad due to financial tsunami, the after effect next year will be worst, demand for luxury item will definitely come down to realistic level.. AD will lelong or give better discount for any popular watches.

Just be patience you will get the best price for your watches if you intend to buy...

I think the difference between wholesale and retail price in not 30 pct but
42 pct. ..If they give 25% and make only 5%, they will quick run into
trouble

I have always said that new ones can be found for around 7.5k. Just that there will now be more durian from now on.
