The 3rd party bands remove a bit of the excessive amount of steel on the deepsea especially when viewed from the side of the helium release valve, IMO. Would be good for someone looking for a rubber banded watch.

My concern is will the rubber stripe be strong enough to hold the strong head of dssd?

If the head drop onto the floor will be a gonner. That's mine 2cents opinion.

Just an observation -
I'm noticing many Deepsea are selling either BNIN / or secondhand AGAIN...... there are some 4-5 selling here in SG-ROC fro 10.3-11.8K+...... If I was the sellers I'd wait till Late MAY to sell - you'll make some more $$$ with the expected price rise.

If I was a buyer - grab one now.... some bargains to be had at 10.3K
