My personal opinion. Yes worth to collect. If you spend 6-7 to buy a discon GMT 16710. tHEN why not spend abit more to get a special dial one.Originally posted by cedric View PostBro (The One)... so u mean to say that the GMT Eleven stick font dial is a worthwhile collection....
A special dial is different from a special movement as a special dial can be seen visually and a special movement cannot be seen visually. Such as the 3186 movement in the 16710 worth 9k+. I hope those who own 16710 3186movement don't get offended. As I always want to share my knowledge with all members.

Audentification will not change anything, don't worry. That's why I said servicing. But they will tell you the parts they will change. So you must tell them not to change dial.Originally posted by AAAnot View PostHey all, you mean that they would change the dial only when servicing or even when doing autentication???

Any more details on the "stick font" dial ?
Why is it so popular? Any details on how rare this is and what series these are normally found? Is it sought after among international rolex collectors?Any documented background reading on this, because this is the first time I am hearing this? Thanks for the expert advice.Originally posted by The One View PostI saw it once. It happen in D series and some other Z series, This is call the Error dial. something like the GMT stick font dial. But people don't really go for it as it is not like the GMT ELEVEN. and it is not Zenith movement. My advice to you is don't buy as it is TT RIGHT? iF it is SS then maybe can consider and depend on price wise. You may want to consider the GMT ELeven stick font dial. Pls see this link: http://www.sg-roc.com/showthread.php?t=9424
