    its not a bad deal,but if given a choice,i would prefer the new 42mm explorer II.

    I was quoted by a shop (AD) $7850 after disc for Rolex 214270 Explorer 39mm. And apparently, interest-free instalment payment plan using OCBC credit cards give a further discount of $540, making the price $7310. Tempting?

    Usually for popular sports model like the explorer 2 does not offer any discount when you visit any brick and mortar stores here.

    If you are looking for lower prices, just take a look around the trading corner in this forums.

    That is where I got mines for much of a lower price back then few months ago.

    Additional 5 mins per week is too much & since you mentioned your ExpII is 5 years old, it's about time to send it in to RSC for servicing (recommended every 5 years). Cheers!

    Time to send in for service. If I am not wrong, COSC spec is -4/+6 sec.
    My 1 year+ old Exp2 is running -2 sec per day.
