Not really la. They also offer same deal ($10360) if you use credit card but without interest-free installment plan.

Some boutiques may be operated by certain AD (like Rolex ION is run by THG), but my understanding is that the boutiques must still follow strictly the guidelines set by the manufacturer. Unless Rolex allows the AD to mark up the price of watches sold at the boutiques, which is what my question was about...

Its a load of BS.... so many of these are in AD's here right now... not to mention many on SG-ROC.... demand has faded some 6-8 weeks ago. ( note - a few AD's here have BOTH in stock.... some have not moved them in the last 2 weeks - I looked at the serial numbers )

I went to few shops today, heres the update:- (I only asked for the Orange 42mm White dial)

THG @ Raffles - No stock. Was quoted $10200.
THG @ Taka - No stock. Was quoted $10360.
Rolex @ ION - Got stock but selling at premium pricing of $13000.

All 3 outlets staff told me that this watch is under their 'High Demand Low Supply' list. Thus, no stock. Even got also will be selling at premium pricing.

On the side note, kudos to Rolex @ ION staff. I went in wearing shorts & slippers - Yet I was served like a VIP. Great service.

Sorry to change topic. I bought an explorer 2 black dial on 30/06/2006. It's D series. Just wondering now when D series was introduced.
