Whatever comments on individual preference is purely subjective
For eg.. Some think the dssd look short and fat, and way oversized
    Some feel otherwise
No one is right or wrong, its just personal preference

        • Anyone knows how much a 39mm Explorer I, local warranty, dated March 2012 is worth now? Full set with box, link, warranty card.
Am thinking of upgrading. Am thinking 39mm is abit small on my hand.
          My humble collection:

          - Rolex Explorer 1, 39mm, black dial, new bracelet, Mar 2012.

          • Depending on the watch condition also, the price ranges between early & late 6K thereabout.

it'll be hard to find. and even if you can find, it'll probably be rather costly since it's no longer in production. e.g. the 16570 is still abailable at the ion rolex sjop run by thg and they are retailing it at sgd900+ with no discount. well, not for me at least...

                    • Hi, I saw a weird serial on a 16570 that goes XXAXXXBX. Is this the new alphanumeric series?
                      It's a 2011 set.

                          sorry, I'm a newbie, got a question:

If I get someone to help bring back a Explorer II for me from overseas, where should I go locally to get it sized to my wrist? should I:
                          (1) bring to any neighbourhood watch shop? safe to do so?
                          (2) bring to one of the ADs? will they entertain me since I didn't buy the watch from them? if they do,what is likely to be the typical cost?
                          (3) bring to RSC? what would be the typical cost?
                          (4) do it myself? I think not lah....

                          Thanks!
Actually the links quite easy to change, they use screw-in type ( unlike Omega ). Yes like other bros said, correct size screwdriver, slow and steady, can DIY easily.

It doesnt take rocket science to change the links. ;P
