  • Just wanna share my personal experience at rsc recently. My Nero 216570's warranty wxpired in March this year. However, recently, I discovered that the crown tightens when fully wound. Which is not right. There should be a disengagement that kicks in when full.

So I brought it back to rsc and they acknowledged that it was a manufacturing fault and replaced the crown absolutely free.

40 might not be full. U should wind it till you hear an additional rhythmic click that signals the clutch of some sort disengaging. Then it's fully wound.
