Just wanna share my personal experience at rsc recently. My Nero 216570's warranty wxpired in March this year. However, recently, I discovered that the crown tightens when fully wound. Which is not right. There should be a disengagement that kicks in when full.

So I brought it back to rsc and they acknowledged that it was a manufacturing fault and replaced the crown absolutely free.

i tested the power reserve of my 216570 after 40 full windings, came down to about 45hours. 3hours lesser than the 48hours. should this be a concern?

40 might not be full. U should wind it till you hear an additional rhythmic click that signals the clutch of some sort disengaging. Then it's fully wound.

Wow! Bro! You're back already? That was quick. Do u want the booklet for resale purpose or for personal reference? If it's for the latter, fret not. It's relatively simple to operate. Hour hand sets the date. You can move the hour hand back and forth to set th date.

Just got a Explorer II 216570. Noticed that there is a slight gap between case and crown of the Explorer II even when fully screwed down, is this normal?

Actually I decided to get the polar bcos of the lume n dial... Was struggling black or white for a month. Glad I made the right choice.
