Hello to everyone in this forum. I just bought a white Explorer II 216570 yesterday.
Paid $7388 for this one which is dated Jun 2013 full set in mint condition.
As I am very new to Rolex, may I know if its a good deal ?
Another question: Noticed that the blue lume sometimes fades away when night falls,
does it need sunlight to charge? How long?

Was the minty piece from overseas or local AD?

Sunlight is not a requisite, you can charge it using any light source, the stronger the better of course. And naturally, the longer the exposure, the longer the lume should last.

$7400 is a nice price. May I know which AD you went too? I see most posting here for sale are around $8k odd. Thanks for the info

Got mine at $7400 at local AD recently, hunt yourself one from grey dealer in the Rolex Garage here, may get you below $6500.

Most AD quoting about $10K + for the Explorer II. Are you saying that the AD can give > 20% discount for popular Rolex model like explorer II?
