Thanks. I hardly see anyone wearing these so I thought it might be less popular which is why I could get a discount.
But I guess it's hard to get discount for the sports models.

One last thing, has anyone posted side by side photos of the 114270 and the 214270?

Thanks Oceanklassik, looking forward to it. I want to see how much difference the 39mm makes when compared to the original. I tried on a 36mm a few years ago but found it too small for my wrist. But I like the Explorer design so I'm hoping the 39mm would work.

The engraved 'chapter ring' should start from the later 'Z' series.

Thanks Oceanklassik, looking forward to it. I want to see how much difference the 39mm makes when compared to the original. I tried on a 36mm a few years ago but found it too small for my wrist. But I like the Explorer design so I'm hoping the 39mm would work.

But seriously if you want to make a fair comparison, you should try both on your wrist individually. Pics can only do so much. Enjoy the (not so good) pics dude..

You are not wrong, at least for me. I prefer the 36mm to the 39mm, anytime. I only have to save up for the next one year or two to be able to afford one, brand new.

Whats a rough gauge for price of a pre-owned M or V (w 'chapter ring') explorer (39mm)??
High4 to low5??

This watch is relatively new to be able to gauge a price for a pre-owned piece. I wonder if there is even an 'M' series for it. The oldest one may have started with a 'V', and in this case, all should come with the 'chapter ring'.
