    its been long i last visited here, last yesterday i bought a sub 16610 M series from watch@12ena, german set. some flaws, one very very small nick on the lower lug, some scratches on the back of the lugs near the springbar, warranty card dated jan 2009. Should i get it polished or wait till, coming cny? I bought it at quite a very reasonable price, which i am quite satisfy.:yay

    small issue just simple polishing will do, do you guys see a need to do it now or later?

    yes... I was told Rolex only produced 50 pieces... tell him that....

    how many sub owners noticed there's scratch back of the case near the springbar? Usually caused by removing the bracelet, accidentally scratched.

    forums got similar one selling at 5.7 orh.

    but i think servcing cost + verfication cost, you are better of getting a newer series (F or D) which costs around 6-6.3k preowned and come with B&P somemore.

    U should be 1997, so about 12 years watch. Gotta check when is the last servicing done.If not, gotta fork out around 400 to do servicing which will add up to 6k for your watch. at this price, you may be able to get a newer version.

    I been observing this forum for quite some time as a fren is selling me a U series SD for 5.6k , w/o cert n box n no pin hole .
    Any advise shld i go for it ? btw how long is a U series SD ?
