The SD has been discontinued since 2009. The new replacement of this model is the DSSD. Do a search here and on the Internet and you should be able to read up on the difference between the two. One distinctive difference is the presence of a cyclops on a Submariner against one without on an SD. Oh before I forget, the Submariner (16610) has also just been discontinued this year.
The latest series for the last batch of SD should be 'V' I guess.
I send to RSC this morning, within half an hour my watch is out, the slim lady with short hair in her 30s i guess return me the watch, and said it just a stain on the outside, i don't know how they did it but i though it can never remove off but the thing i highlighted was no longer there. No charge at all, although not all things they able to rectified but overall service they provided not bad.
i sent my y-series to adjust the "clasp", also never charge me.. nice ppl at rsc...
"M16610" should refer to your watch's model no., not serial no. So yours should be a Submariner w/date? Since your watch comes with alphanumeric serial no. you should find it engraved in the inner ring of the dial (watch face), at the 6 o'clock position.
