There is only one type of sub la. The G is just for rolex to differentiate one, like on their box. Look at my signiture, 16233G, means that there is diamond dial.Originally posted by iMac08 View PostI really din see the G and yet still got the diamond. I ask the SE and he is not even aware there is such a thing as jap edition submariner. ??? Anyway i thought it look unique but little similar to gmt2c tt. , the same thing is written on my rolex paper box from 1989. , the same thing is written on my rolex paper box from 1989. If we wear the watch everyday, would it harm the watch movement? Or just wear and tear and need service after some years? I thought Rolex movement is very reliable and can last for long long time?Originally posted by johnfish View PostBTW, some winder is doing more harm than good on your wtaches movt.

The author of this book says u need to always make sure the watch is used/running. If many hv pieces need too wind and run at least once every week.

When wounding wind until the second hand moves by itself and so not "shake" the watch to kick start. This way the watch lasts longer.

The crown threads worn-out is something new to me Thanks Bro Leong Thanks Bro Leong
