Anyone knows the retail price now for the GMT II 116710LN?

I recently saw one piece of GMT II in NZ. Very good price. Is it safe to buy from oversea in terms of warranty, cert, etc?

Yes it is...those BNIB sets u see on our garage are also from overseas. Rolex has international warranty no worries...

the year of manufacture. is the only difference. some of the later Z & M series 16710 have 3186 mov't inside.

Oh what he meant by "Z & M series" is the year of manufacture. For eg. "Z" in 2007 and "M" in 2008. "16710" refers to the model no. as in Datejust is '116200', Submariner is '16610' and so on. "3186 mov't" refers to the most current watch movement used in certain ROLEX watches. The earlier movement will be '3185'.

If i were to get GMTII+c from local AD, what are the stuffs i can request from the SA apart from box,bezel protector and warrantycard? what is the alphabet for 2008 production for this rollie?

you can try your luck with some freebies. 2007/2008 is M series. 2008/2009 will be V series.
