I'm afraid not. The anchor was only issued at a certain period previously for some of the Submariners & SDs. I'm not sure why they did that but I've read it somewhere in the forum. I don't think they are issuing it now but no harm asking if you are intending to buy. The ADs may keep stock and if you are lucky enough, they may give it to you.

As for booklet I believe you are asking about the watch manual? Then yes, it should.

thanks oceanklassik. wrt to booklet, i meant the GMT booklet with pilots in cockpit on front cover and sub booklet shows a diver. the full set of sub which i bot from a forumer here came complete with sub booklet, but another set which i bot direct from a local AD did not. puzzled... or older series came with booklet, the newer series with chapter rings do not?Originally posted by Oceanklassik View PostI'm afraid not. GMT Master II (16710) Bezel Insert

Dear Rolex Siaos,

this sounds like a silly question, but how do I tell if the bezel insert on a GMT Master 2 (16710) is "original".

I.e. when purchased it was a black insert which was subsequently changed along the way to a Pepsi or Coke insert.

Is this stated anywhere in the certs/papers? Or it doesn't really matter?

I know the bezel insert is not that costly but I want to buy a 16710 in its original state. My Collection

If im not wrong, the paperwork will say what bezel the watch originally came with. i have personally seen papers that indicate the bezel color.Originally posted by CHM View PostDear Rolex Siaos,

RSC will sell you any insert you desire should your taste change.

16710 in original = all parts are original. bezel should be checked to ensure its authentic; but color will not.Currently wearing:

Thanks for the reply, I am sure I'm not the only one here, but if you want a Pepsi GMT Master 2, it's just not the same as buying an all black and changing it.Originally posted by seiko.citizen View PostIf im not wrong, the paperwork will say what bezel the watch originally came with. i have personally seen papers that indicate the bezel color.

whats the difference if you change the bezel? i dont get why it would be any different.Originally posted by CHM View PostThanks for the reply, I am sure I'm not the only one here, but if you want a Pepsi GMT Master 2, it's just not the same as buying an all black and changing it.

my friend in perth has a 16710 with the pepsi insert, but he also has the coke and all black.

if you do indeed wish to change yourself, beware of the spring at the 11 o clock position, if the spring comes out, you will have to go to RSC or your watchmaker to get it put back in.Currently wearing:

Thanks for the tip. I saw a couple of DIY bezel changes on you tube. I will probably bring it to a 3rd party service centre to change it! I'm sure it's a breeze with practise but not my cup of tea!My Collection
