Dear all, I'm having a major headache deciding on which GMTII to get, its between e TT black dial or e SS black. And it will be my first Rolex.
Some of my considerations
TT - really love e gold n black color combi but afraid that it's too flashy n end up not having much wrist time as i prob wont wear it daily
SS - nice for daily wear, but afraid i'll get bored w it too soon. (If i forgo the SS might go for the pam321).
Price diff is abt 3k but I think that's secondary for now.
Anyone here faced e same dilemma as me before?

If you have reservations and worries about the SS now you probably still will have them when you get it.

I had the same issue w the daytona. In the end sold that tt for a ss. My advice is better I get bored then u don't wear. U can csdr the blue black one actually.

@tunge,
Just another point for you consideration.
These GMTs have PCL and end up with scratches easily. So Gold might get scratched easily than SS. Mine SS PCL has already suffered many scratches on clasp although I wear mine in office if I do not have outside projects.GMT Master II - 116710LN (Dec 2013)

Hi,
Had a gmt TT close to a year, i wore long sleeve shirts everyday, most friends/colleagues said i carry the TT well, putting on a SS may look slightly blend.
Key here is the owner (wearer), not the watch.
Scratches are common, if wana avoid, just put it in the safe, which defeat the initial purpose of buying.
Let the timepiece serves you, not the other way round.
No offense to anyone, just my 5 cents worth of thought.

I went to cortina last sat. There is no discount for GMT Master II stainless steel be it the black or the blue black version. They have no stock anyway for blue black. Black one cost $10,980. If you have May bank credit card, can use it to pay and enjoy $600 rebate into the credit card within 2 months from date of purchase.Originally posted by goldcretu View Post???
If you are keen on the GMT Master II half gold, according to him, there is at least a 10% off.
