    • Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie to Rolex watch and I came across a GMT master 2 watch recently :
      Description of the watch :
      -- half gold
-- single clasp, not the double locking type
      -- No box or cert.
      -- slight scratches
      -- condition about 8.5/10
-- about more than 10 years old, not sure which series?
-- date dial seems yellowish instead of white
-- green sticker is worn off.

Need your kind advise to :
-- is the yellowish date dial normal?
If not, is it expensive to replace a new one?
-- What are the area which I need to take note when inspecting the watch?
-- What would be the reasonable price range as per above description?

Much appreciate to your kind advise.

      Cheers!

      • When did rolex change the GMT Master from the single clasp to the double locking.

Can the single clasp be change to the double type?

Well, as a newbie I'm not sure what is comes as original?
          Anyway, thanks for your input.

            • GMTII and GMTIIC

I notice that there is a GMTII and a GMTIIC? What is the difference? BTW, I finding that the GMTII isnt much difference from the Explorer II if I see from far.

Are you refering to V or M series?

                              • thats the going price for the older series (if i recall correctly), V/M series, may command a slight premium. 16710 in V series will never be found.
