Just got myself a 116710blnr from overseas AD after being poisoned over the last few weeks.
I love the weight (almost as heavy as DSSD).
The fit is really good as it wraps around my wrist well and the EASYLINK quick extension link is definitely a good feature to have.
I'm still playing around with it as I'm still amazed at how it can tell time from 3 different timezones.
And the blue+black bezel is simply amazing. The blue seems like it changes colour to a different shade under different lighting. So cool.
definitely a good watch to have and an excellent 1st rolex for those still considering.

Anyone knows how much it costs to replace the ceramic bezel? Mine color turned very dark, lost the look. Any pohang to do it at a lower cost? Thanks

Hi,
Had a gmt TT close to a year, i wore long sleeve shirts everyday, most friends/colleagues said i carry the TT well, putting on a SS may look slightly blend.
Key here is the owner (wearer), not the watch.
Scratches are common, if wana avoid, just put it in the safe, which defeat the initial purpose of buying.
Let the timepiece serves you, not the other way round.
No offense to anyone, just my 5 cents worth of thought.

@tunge,
Just another point for you consideration.
These GMTs have PCL and end up with scratches easily. So Gold might get scratched easily than SS. Mine SS PCL has already suffered many scratches on clasp although I wear mine in office if I do not have outside projects.

follow your heart, if after getting it and in doubt, remind yourself why did you get that in the first place..

Originally posted by tunge View PostDear all, I'm having a major headache deciding on which GMTII to get, its between e TT black dial or e SS black. And it will be my first Rolex.
Some of my considerations
TT - really love e gold n black color combi but afraid that it's too flashy n end up not having much wrist time as i prob wont wear it daily
SS - nice for daily wear, but afraid i'll get bored w it too soon. (If i forgo the SS might go for the pam321).
Price diff is abt 3k but I think that's secondary for now.
Anyone here faced e same dilemma as me before?
