  • Prior servicing or checks before warranty expire .....

    Hi all,
Just realised the warranty of my DSSD gonna expire soon, thought of bringing it down to rsc to have check/servicing done. No cost involved right?

    Cheers

    checking is FOC
if you want to service the watch, it is chargeable but they extend the warranty for you

How long will the warranty be extended? Thanks.

Thought they will encourage service and the usual "your crown tube and thread need replacement"

Dmaul77, sorry to hijack your thread.

Let say your warranty has already expired. You brought your Rolex for servicing at RSC, after servicing will you get a fresh two year warranty from Rolex. Thanks.

Usually if the watch is too new. They will ask you to come back again.

Yup, this was my experience too. Their explanation - doesn't mean that the warranty period is expiring, they are obligated to service the watch.

BUT you can insist that they 'check' because your watch is more than +/- 6 seconds faster/slower. But whether they service it or not again is up to them.

they would more likely regulate the watch than to service it if its out of COSC requirements
