Yup... shld be considered "un-authorised"... although not explicitly stating.. but they did say the following in their FAQ

Q. Is the Pro-Hunter part of the Rolex Collection?
A. No, The Pro-Hunter is a high quality customisation of a Rolex Sports Watch.

So we are esentially buying new rolexes which has been customized.

But they checked out their upcoming 2009 collection under NEWS

Pro-Hunter is definitely not done by Rolex, but an initiative of Kamal, well known vintage dealer/collector

Not sure why anyone wld want to do it... I mean, might as well take one step further and really customise it to individual customer's instructions e.g. birthday, wedding anniversary date, 'SUPERDOOPER POWER EXTREME COMEX' etc

price of panama canal is not as hot. from what i understand, it is only the engraved case back. nothing special on the dial itself.
