  • Newbie Here, wats the difference between a D series and V series 16613 Blue Sub

Hi, was new to the forum. Thinking of getting one blue sub 16613 as my first Rolex watch. Been running around preown shops looking for the perfect watch.
Just curious, beside the year of make, both watches are very similar. What are the differences in the the D and V series??? Which watch carries the best value over the years

Thank to all the Shifus and Experts in advance

I don't think there's any difference between the two physically. Not very sure though. And if it is so, I suppose the newer 'V' series will command a better value over time.

I think the clasp for V series is gold plated whereas the D series has the normal clasp just like the SS sub models.
      Current babies:
      Sub 16610LN D series
      PAM 312 M series
      IWC 500112 Laureus Limited Edition

      Wish list:
      116613LB?
      a good White dial watch
