own a submariner 6536-1 made in III/57 case and bezel insert looks abit aged, should i sent for polishing or leave it with the natural aged apperance. will polishing affect the resale value for vintage watch?

    help advise, please.

leave it as it is. it adds character to the watch. if you ever decide to sell it, let the new owner decides. btw, most collectors prefer untouch/original condition. hope that helps.

Try not to polish it unless it is really bad condition... if thats the case, do a light polish... don't polish it to brand new look...

          Bro Sub6536,

IMHO, leave it as it is!
A vintage timepiece needs to have the matching vintage look (dials, markers, hands, case, bracelet, etc).

Maybe you want to post some pics to make us drool...

Once you do it, the watch loses its historic charm......and value.......
