        Rolex doesn't make these specials for individuals. So far only military or state. I don't think the PLA of China would think of commissioning Rolex to make a watch. NK army maybe if their great leader wants one!

          I would speculate that Rolex could deal with the Chinese government if there's a military contract on supplying watches to the higher ranked generals or some sort,..

            Interesting that this is a red Submariner whereas there is also a Assad red Sea-Dweller out there?

            To the experts out there, could it be that there are both red Subs and Submariners from the Assad-era?

                Yes, Eric Ku has a nice 1665 Al Assad for sale... Also very rare piece
