      could be.
      where did you find it?

      can you pop open the back? you would know.

      alternatively, take it to RSC and ask for a "servicing quote". You'll know.

          similar to a piece i have but it reads ' oyster perpetual' below rolex, no. 6 also a bit different. very very old, i think of late 40s or early 50s. mine ref no. 2764.

            Likely 1950s - dauphine hands which were seldom used after the early 1960s (I think?) ... maybe late 1940s, but those mostly haven't aged this well.
            Are these what they call teardrop lugs?

              shd be, look like the 'horn shaped'. mine series no. 63****, so btw 1948-51.

                        i think 4542 is of inverse horn lugs, yours is closer to 4332. post pics later and you can compare...
