Thank u gentlemen for sharing the watch picts.

Most asian dont really have big wrist. Good that the trend is in and that we can enjoy bigger watches. The weight n presence

I have small wrist too but I have a couple of Pams, Corum & IWC which are 44mm. I reckon the best fit for us Asians is the 42mm. Most of us wear our watches on the left, but if you feel that 44mm is a little too big, then why not wear it on your right? Most of us are right-handed so the wrist should be slight bigger.

Well, if not there are still JLC & GO that produce 41mm watches!! Anyway, I guess it's ok with 44mm as long as it's not too chunky like those on the wrists of muscle men!

Swatch Diaphane One - Relocated from budget timepieces

Just realised there's new Diaphane One now.

For a start the old Diaphane One (aka Carousel) Turning Gold:

New Diaphane One Turn 2 Him (~US 8000 if can get):

New Diaphane One Turn 2 Her (~ US$13000 if can get):

              Little info:

An astonishing display of the art of Swiss watchmaking, the new Diaphane One models are "skeleton" watches. Visible from both front and back, the revolving 25-ruby movement draws the connoisseur's appreciative eye to its display of exquisitely crafted finishing's and artfully intricate design. Neither a tourbillion nor a karussel, the mechanism assures the movement of all the elements on the watch face. The platform that serves as the base of the cage holds all the wheels of a traditional timekeeping movement, along with the escapement and the balance wheel. The revolving cage, which houses the wheel train and regulating organ of the watch, completes two full revolutions every hour, causing the balance wheel and the escapement to revolve like satellites around the center of the watch. Like a comet that travels through space and time, the watch is in the process of perpetual change.

Saw it recently in the Swatch boutique in Place Vendome, Paris.

Very tempting but cannot get past the use of plastic in the case. Also will have a hard time explaining to wifey why I bought a US8000 swatch

Cool. Does it feel solid in hand? Looks plastic.

Agreed. Hard to explain a US8000 swatch n its plastic.

Up close, it still looks like a swatch. Very plasticky like a regular diaphane. Still I think there will be people sweeping these off the shelves

Cool watch ... but doubt I would pay that much for a plastic Swatch ...
