Black, Bold, Big and Mean... Grrrrrrrr!!!

Its not very big, at 41mm, its about the usual gents' size as of our current era. But yes, it did really catch my eye.

I'm a firm admirer of Japanese watchmaking. Firms like Seiko, Citizen, Ricoh and the rest produce outstanding pieces at each price point.

For me, my chosen poison is Seiko and they are a true manufacture, regardless of the entry level 5 series or the top-of-the-line Ananta, Credor and Grand Seiko series, everything is in house, down to the Silicone grease and oil.

The second piece!

This one followed suit soon after. JDM SBCM023.

An 8F movement, accurate to within +-25 seconds a year.

I actually use it as a reference point for the rest of my burgeoning collection!

I also had a hard time choosing too. The black is very very sophisticated.
