  • My First Mechanical Watch EVER!

My very first watch, probably the one that started the poison until now.

3 years ago, was walking around town with no intention to make any purchases.
This "lady" spoke to me immediately the moment i waltzed into the Wisma Longines Boutique.

Many watches look good only in pictures, but for this one, the watch itself had a halo round it...astoundingly elegant. Its now a discontinued model in its own series.

You can imagined how much i fussed over it haha.

      Thanks Mille.

Just wanted to post this first because am thinking of putting it up for sale/trade soon. Sad yes, but i just have too many to rotate through and this isn't getting enough time. Maybe i'm just a brand whore! haha

Guys, watch for my sales thread if i do get down to doing it.

            Thank you thank you.

Always reassuring to have the green light from more senior members out there

                The ref is L2.693.4.78.3
                From the Master collection.

I put it up on sale for a while, but thank goodness i withdrew it.
Slapped on a honey brown large-square alligator leather strap on, and since then it's been firm keeper for me...never looked back.

The model that Darkie has posted is a quadruple retrograde model from their Master Collection.
There are 41mm and 44mm versions, in s.steel and rose gold.

They are also now discontinued in Asia according to Longines boutique staff, apparently because they are not popular here.

The damage? Around 8k+ for s.steel model. Was also eyeing this. That's why i bought my tri-compax chronogaph instead. Haha. First watch mah, how to stomach 8k hor?
