i actually finished my watch shopping for this year but because of you and a few other watch lovers in this forum, i am going to double up my effort and make more money this year to get the watch i want (supposed to be target for 2010).

5146 is the succesor to the 5056P, itself descendent of the seminal 1997's 5035. using same 315 SC caliber, but i think slight mod. cleaner face and bigger case at 39mm. useful annual calender. plus moonphase, for which i am a sucker for.

IHMO better then the pert calender 5140, which is "only" 37mm, with a "busier" face, thus less legible. interesting fact, there are more parts in the Patek annuals versus the perpetuals, 310ish vs 270ish.

I have bought 3 watches this month and its not even half the month yet hahaha and, with another one that I have placed a deposit for. First, a Rollie and then a Zenith and now, something sturdy looking and starts with R hahahaha with a H I hope to come.
